We instantly connected with her warm presence, gentle, caring character ... I had to ask her to be my doula!
— Amina K.

Hey fam!
So glad you’re here.

I'm Amy.

I love moms, babies, and all things motherhood.
I’m a certified doula, herbalist, wife, and believer.

Most days you can find me running around with a toddler, tending to my zucchini plants, or hanging out with the world’s coolest teenagers. (My hubby is a youth pastor!)

I’m known for teaching herbal remedies and writing lists full of lists. I’m also known for my overflowing pots of soup, never-ending stacks of books, and putting a hot cuppa tea in your hand.

I’m passionate about healthy, filled-to-the-brim-with-joy marriages, and love sharing my story of God’s redeeming power. I’m all about adopting your fur babies from animal shelters, I dream of the homesteading life, and I’m really into passing down womanly knowledge to the girls we raise. If I knew then what I know now…oofph!

At the end of the day, I serve the world by loving on babies and joining mothers and families on their journey into parenthood. It’s just the best. People say that I fiercely believe in women and their bodies, and if you hang out with me long enough, you will too.

I work with fun-loving couples who are looking to grow their families and want help with having a joyous, peace-centered birth experience. I give them the tools needed to create a dreamy birth atmosphere, a memorable labor experience, and the confidence to birth the way that feels right for themselves and their babies.

I specialize in:

  • women birthing outside of the system.

  • mothers wanting to learn how to trust their intuition.

  • believing in + celebrating the heck out of you.

As a doula, I’ve been featured on Voyage Atl and have had the honor of training under midwives Ina May Gaskin, UmmSalaamah Abdullah, Monique Daviau, and Diana Calano.

I learned under acupuncturist Evan Bussanich to practice acupressure during, and specific to, pregnancy, labor/birth, and the early postpartum weeks following.

Outside of birth work, I’m an experienced herbalist (of 10 years!) and certified yoga teacher- with a special focus in fertility, prenatal, and postnatal care. I use this knowledge to teach God-honoring and female safe movement classes and practices.

I’ve taken every class in the books, and love learning everything there is to know about birth! I pass these knowledge nuggets on to you- and I come with all the necessary goodies. Peanut balls, Tens Units, Rebozos, Pelvic Floor practices. Whatever you need… I’ve gotcha, girl.

When I’m not busy bouncing babies, massaging moms or teaching dads how to use a rebozo, I’m probably sharing my mat with my mixed, pit pup or hanging out in downtown Marietta with my hubby.

Want to grab tea? Let’s do this!
